You've got some wrong numbers there... by your measure VIN 5000 is the first, and VIN 2104 is the last... lol. Here's the correct first and last-

First- SCEDT26T8BD000500
Last- SCEDT26T8DD020104

If you look at Knut Grimsrud's summary of his study, it looks like there were actually around 9200 DeLoreans made :-) . http://www.dmcnews.com/faq/h_vins.htm
