Corey,
I am also 19 years old, soon to be 20, and I have wanted a DeLorean
since I was 8, thats a little over 10 years. But you cant just dream
to make this dream come true, unless your parrents are willing to
fork over 15-20 grand for your first car. You must take action.
Since I was 10, I have been saving nearly every dime I possibly could
towards this grand purchase. All these years I have saved only 8,500
dollars, not bad for nearly minimum wage jobs, but still technicaly
only half way for a "Decent" car, not to mention the 32 thousand for
a refurbished "new" model. I plan it to take another 3-4 years
before I can possibly buy one with Cash, but I just cant wait that
long.
But, your only 15, I would do the best I could to save at least $3000-
4000 dollars as a downpayment before I went and bought a car, and by
that time you will be around 18-19 (if your lucky). As much as I
hate to admit it, you should around 24-25 before you buy one, that
way you can appreciate it, and had time to rag out on other cars. As
for me, my dream (whether or not I can really afford it) will come
true this summer, come he@@ or high water.

>Corey, I'm 19.
I bought my DeLorean when I was 18. (No-parents didn't help.
I looked into buying one the first time right about the age of this
young fellow... It is unrealisitc at 15 or 16..
Don't worry about owning a DeLorean now. SAVE MONEY... when you do
go buy one the 5k + downpayment will be tremondously helpful in
getting credit.
