TEC3 is a custom Engine Control Unit from a company called 
Electromotive that replaces the mechanical distributor with a 
flywhell, and the coil and spark system with a direct fire ignition 
system. In addition, it can control electronic FUel Injectors, 
meaning the replacement of the (inefficient) D mechanical fuel 
injectors.
