Hello list,

I also had a awful amount of brake noise coming from my front brakes. I was 
able to fix this by installing new pads along with antisqueel shims. The 
shims are the key to quiet braking. When I installed the pads I also cleaned 
and lubed the slides and sprayed anit squeel coumpound on the back of the 
pads.

To make a long story short, no more noise when braking.

On a related note, does anyone make ceramic pads for the DeLorean 
application. I installed a set on my Buick, and not only are they quiet, 
they noticably reduce stoping distance.
