Strange Noise

I know this was discussed in the newsgroup not too long ago but I've not been sucessful searching for it. Whenever I turn my wheels all the way either left or right and drive slowly, either forward or reverse, I hear a clunking sound (link I'm rolling over small objects) and the wheels jerk slightly. Any idea what the problem is? The solution?
