CV Boots & Delco Alternator replacement

Does anyone know if there is a replacement for the outer CV Boot?

I would prefer a split boot so I don't have to disassemble the whole thing.

Can a regular boot be "split" and sealed with something?


I have replace my alternator with the Delco 7157 and it works great 
electrically but somehow the belt seems a bit out of alignment and I see alot 
of "powdered belt" on the adjusting bracket. I suspect the belt will fail 
soon. Has anyone experienced this. Does anyone have a solution?
