Robert,
Same firm different factory, now closed, the space saver spares were not in
common use in the UK so were bought in.
Full details will be in our new, "upbeat" book "Stainless Steel Legacy" in
its 3rd year of research!
We have spent many interesting days/weeks, travelling all over the UK,
interviewing all sorts of suppliers, Ex employee's, sub-contractors etc etc.
During the course of this my-self and Andy Withers the co-author (and
fellow RHD owner) have un-covered loads on "mind blowing" information,
memorabilia, photographs, original documents etc.
But it all takes such a long time to do!
Obviously we can't reveal much yet as it would lessen the book's impact.
We plan to make the book physically the same size as SSI, which I believe is
being re-printed later this year.
I hope it will be a "must have" for all us DeLorean nuts.
Watch this space,
Chris Parnham Hon. Sec. DeLorean Owners Club UK.

Interesting. My wheels say "GKN" on them. I take it that they made
the wheels as well? Although my spare says Rockwell Intl. on it.
