Walt - I noticed that you have not really unsubscribed - do you need 
help with that? Or was that supposed to be some sort of threat to get 
us to let your post thru (the fact that your quitting 
was "conditional" was not stated in your original post). You are 
welcome to stay or go, we have not unsubscribed anyone who didn't 
directly request it and won't now either.

List - It's a slow weekend anyway, so I'm letting all the other 
discussion thru as well. If this bothers anyone just skip 'em. But 
here's the response. 

Our intent is to maintain the DML as it is. We've discussed it among 
ourselves and others many times over the years. With 5 moderators it 
will NEVER be 100% consistent. Based on feedback we get, (and the 
fact that we get many more complaints about letting through too much 
off-topic stuff than complaints about what we don't let through), it 
isn't going to change. Believe me when I say we don't do this for 
some power trip, the fact that it seems that a huge percentage of the 
list membership still thinks James Espey runs the list after being 
out of it for over 4 years says something about our attempts to grab 
attention. 

Please contact Walt off-line about any other lists. If you do a list 
search on YahooGroups you'll find that there are already several 
other Delorean lists. Most are public, all are unmoderated. Or start 
a new one. Chat to your heart's content. We intend to keep the focus 
of the DML on the car, company, man; Not BTTF, models, snake oil, 
UFOs, Bricklins, or somebody's old Nissan. If you are sensitive about
rejection then don't post to this list.
