I've used these connections when having to jump start my DeLorean, 
but was unaware that I could use them when using my DeLorean to 
jumpstart ANOTHER vehicle. Every instruction sheet that I've ever 
seen has said that the running vehicle must have both cables 
connected to it's respective battery terminals, and it's the dead car 
that has to be connected to the positive terminal, and the engine 
block.
