Jason,

I too live in Charlotte and have had success with a local shop. They 
are called Neighborhood Automotive and are located on the south part 
of town. The mechanic there has worked on Deloreans before and has 
extensive knowledge on Volvo engines. Contact me off list and I will 
be more than willing to introduce you to them as well as help you out 
with projects that can be done from home.
