DeLorean vs. Alpine A310 Question.

Someone mentioned a while back on the list here that the 
exhaust headers on the Alpine A310 will not fit on the DeLorean 
because of a clearance issue with the crossmember that 
supports the engine (I'm assuming the headers described are 
the stock one's that point straight down).

So, the question here is does anyone know what the exact 
clearances are. or perhaps at the very least does someone have 
a photo of this area on an Alpine? Just trying to figure out if the 
clearance was with the headers themselves, or just no space to 
connect them up to the exhaust system...
