V12 Northstar

Where did you see details on the V-12 Northstar?

If you put 12 smaller pistons in the same area as 8 larger pistons, the
overall displacement will be lower.. While the V-12 may have a smoother
ride, I don't see how it would be a performance improvement.

Id venture to guess this is just a marketing tool for GM.

Also, I read where GM has shown the "next" Northstar
engine. It is a V-12 but takes up NO MORE space than
the V-8 (a requirement placed upon the engineers by
the brass). Awesome numbers. I'm not suggesting it,
but I wonder who will be the first to contemplate
putting that mother in a D!
