Terminology

Sorry if I'm out of step here. I've been watching the discussion of 14
and 15 inch - versus - 15 and 16 inch. 

Are "rims" the same as "wheels"?

For that matter, are "wheel covers" what we used to call "hub caps"?

Not that it matters. I don't have my De yet. :\
