Radio Interference

I recently finished a very comprehensive tuneup on my DeLorean, and 
now I'm getting a random "poping" noise out of my speakers when the 
engine is running. It doesn't sound like the normal interference that 
usually happens from the engine, it seems like all 4 speakers randomly 
cut in and out often with a loud pop. It never did this last year, 
and it doesn't do it now in IGN II without the engine running. I 
realize that the routing of the plug wires can effect radio reception, 
and I'm going to check those out, but what else could be causeing this 
to happen? I have a late-81 Craig radio. Thanks.
