more updates - my watery fuel pump

Hello all,

the responses and help just keep coming in!
last night i plugged in my cleaned up and newly rewired fuel pump into my 
harness and turned the key. it still works! and sounds strong too. so 
since it works upon ignition, that would indicate that my problem does not 
lie in my fuel pump or any other fuel system components up to that point. 
i.e., my relays aren't fried, pump works. 

today i am going to take the pump to a machine shop and see if they can 
determine that the pump is actually PUMPING and not just making noises. if 
that's ok, then i'm going to drop the pump back in the car and see if the 
engine starts. if not, well then i'm all out of ideas and i'll be back on 
the computer typing to the DML!!! (after i try calling Rob or DMCJoe....)
