Joe,

You might consider that maybe your car is leaking the fuel rather than
burning too much.

You got me thinking about my car too. I used to get 18mpg, but I think it
has improved a bit since I discovered 2 loose plug wires (they were still
arcing across.) I've been completely through my fuel tank and still get a
slight fuel odor after driving the car. I see no leaks around the tank, but
I'm wondering if I may be dripping fuel around the accumulator. The fuel
lines at my accumulator all look like low pressure hoses with hose clamps
holding them on. Since the car was this way when I bought it, I'm not sure
if it's right or not.

Does anyone know?
