There are stories like this here in Illinios back when the testing
first started (IL uses a roller test). These were not specific to the
DMC. The operator made some grievous error - like putting the wrong
end of the car on the rollers. For this reason they can't test full-
time 4WD cars for example. Just keep an eye on what they are doing.
Actually the more common stories are clutch problems since driving a
manual is such a lost art.
If your state does not do a roller test, there should be no danger.
Again, feel free to watch the operator and make sure they know what
they are doing.
BTW - in Illinois they CANNOT do the gas cap test. The DMC cap won't
fit the test fixture.
