Re: Escaping from a rolled DeLorean
Same way you would escape a Lamborghini...kick out the front
windshield. The best thing to do is install a fire extinguisher in
your car, not only for any fires but you can use the bottom of it to
smash out the front windshield.
I would like to know how it would be possible to try to kick out the
windshield being strapped in by the seatbelt(you do wear your seat
belt Right??)and upside down in a limited room area such as the
Delorean has,,plus has anybody seen what holds the windshield
in,Thick black guey stuff, the most that would happen is that you
would put your foot(leg) thru the windshield, and get it lacerated
making it harder for rescue crews, the best bet is the side
windows, that brings up another question,WHAT if the Delorean is
submerged underwater, how do you get out, will the door spring open
under water?Best bet is if you worry about such things and you want a
Gullwing car then the best bet is to drive a Bricklin,it has full
opening manual windows(a SAFETY Feature) ,A hatchback door with the
release right next to the divers seat, that you can pop open and crawl
out,and Hydroliac doors, that might even open the doors upside down
(acting like a pump jack).
