You could adjust the bars to make your doors come up fully in the
cold but that is NOT advisable. When it gets warmer out your doors
will "bounce" up and that is not a good thing. I am sure if you ask
DMC Joe he will have the proper answer on adjusting them or not. BTW
Cold wheather also effects the gas struts.
