If the door torsion bar splines are damaged it should be replaced.

There is no starter connection through the manual transmission.

Based on your Vin your DeLorean may not have the factory issued starter
modification which was issued to correct intermittent starter operation.

The Tankzilla is a fuel gauge up grade, for the cooling fans you will need
the Fanzilla.

There are several heatshields, which one are you describing.
