Oversteer is when the rear end is sliding out. You steer a certain amount,
but the back wheels move over causing you to turn as though you had put a
lot more steering input in. So it oversteers.

Understeer means that the car doesn't turn as much as you want it to. The
front wheels slide forward even if you steer more.

It applies to all cars.
