Bruce,
I heard a story about someone having a sway bar break in '82. He was going
at slow speed, and it nearly caused him to hit the curb.
My reason for wanting to replace it is that I just spent almost $2000 on a
set of new low profile rims and tires. The front rims are 7" wide instead
of the OEM 6". Now I have the rims hitting my sway bar because they stick
into the wheel well deeper. But my OEM wheels hit the sway bar on both
sides anyway. Another friend's Delorean is the same. Spots on his sway bar
on both sides are polished from the wheels rubbing in sharp turns.
Can you say what model Corvette your poly bushings came from?
Thanks,
