This is mostly old news, but I am posting three quotes from today's
Chicago Sun Times because I think many DML subscribers will find JZD's
words to be amusing and interesting The whole article is here:

DeLorean was arrested by the FBI in Los Angeles in
1982 and charged with attempting to help finance a
cocaine-selling operation, with profits presumably to be
used to rescue his failing car company. He later was acquitted.
"What controversy?" DeLorean said with a laugh during the
interview, when asked if that incident would handicap raising
funds for his ventures.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DeLorean said he has formed DeLorean Time LLC, a
company that will "design and distribute innovative,
high-quality
limited production runs of items such as watches and sunglasses.
"There is a big market for artifacts with my name on it," he
said.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"We've handled it all before," DeLorean said when asked about
his expertise in building cars. "We're shooting for a weight of
only
1,450 pounds with my mass-produced car. It'll have gullwing
[flip-up]
doors like the DeLorean sports car. I really like those doors."
Note that JZD himself refers to our cars as "The DeLorean Sports Car,"
not the DMC 12. Years ago when I titled my car, the state of Ohio told
me they do not recognize DMC 12 as a model, but they do recognize
DeLorean Sports Car.
