trunk rubber gasket replacement tips needed..

Can someone please point me in the right direction for the steps and/or tips
for replacing the rubber weather seal on the trunk lid? The old one is
missing, but there is plenty of glue reside which I plan to remove first.
I'm more curious about installing the new gasket/seal. I do have the proper
rubber cement... Thanks,
