Testing my DML connection.......
To ALL:
The plans to create a die-cast all metal 1/18th scale model (not a kit) is
in the
works. A few weeks ago Steve at DMC Houston referred SunStar America Inc.,
A Chinese manufacture to me as a DMC model consultant. Today the final
meetings and initial DMC-12 survey
began with a photo session and measuring of my DeLorean VIN: 005726. Next
week I will be attending a proto-type meeting at Sun Star US offices, where
technical aspects of the metal die casting will be addressed.
-----------------------------Follow - Up------------------------
The scheduled release of the Die-Cast Metal DeLorean is July 2001 in Hong
Kong
The price range for the 1.18thscale model will be some where in the $24.99
to $29.95
range. This is no pie in the sky deal, the manufactures now produce 31
different die-cast
metal car models. I understand the first run will be 70,000 units.
A full physical measurement and foto survey of my DMC-12 is scheduled for
next week.
I am now officially working as consultant for SSAI. Any DML member wishing
to contribute in some way should contact me privately at:

Just a brief note: I am having a terrible time with my e-mail and Total
immersion web site.
If you have sent mail or fail to get into the web page, please be patient
- I am changing servers and should be on line soon. If you have not
received your limited edition please
relax, all kits have been produced so if you have purchased a kit you will
get it fairly soon.
As soon as the DMC site is back up a detailed up date will be posted.
Thanks
Lee
