I've concidered doing something like this as my driver's side yellow
portion has faded anyway. I'm going to replace both sides soon with new
factory spec lenses. I thought I would experiment on the old ones to see if
I could get the "50-50" look you mentioned just for the heck of it. I don't
have to have my vehicles inspected where I live. If I'm successful, I'll
post the method used and maybe a picture. I think I would prefer the stock
ones though.
