Dear David,
If you get stuck and nothing else works, give your local jobbing
"electroplater" a ring and tell him you have a s/steel panel of whatever
dimensions and can he clean it for you. It should only cost around $15-20
and he will put in various hot soak caustic cleaners, followed by acid dips
, the sort of chemicals a private person woul nevewr be able to get hold of.
It should be as good as new, inside and out. I often do similar things for
our customers..that's the great thing about stainless steel, its practically
indestructible!
