[DML] any dmc/stingray owners?

Now I know i heard once or twice some posts on the list comparing the D
to the third generation corvette. This is a car that just recently I've
become interested in getting in the future ( the earlier years68-->73).
How does it stack up against the D in realiabilty and cost factor? Just
wondering as the Delorean was a direct competitor for the corvette, and
that getting one in the future would probably involve me getting rid of
the D. But for now I'm still loving it! I've put a thousand trouble-free
miles on it so far!
