[DML] ? about black cars

Ok, this is what I know...there were 500 black cars, right. They were
used for testing purposes correct? crashes and such. They were called
"black cars" because they did not have stainless steel panels attached.
now heres my question: What did they do for the doors? A while back
discussion about fiberglass panels came up and was determained "not a
good idea" because the doors are part of the structure of the De Lorean
and they are made of Stainless Steel all the way thru. Also, how could
they test the black cars without that structure the doors give? Did
they have something else in place of the doors?
Pictures??? does anybody have pictures of these black cars? or am I
totally missing the point of this hold subject. Thanks!
