As well as I can remember, JZD bought a Utah based snow grooming company 
while DMC was in its fledgling days. Either the company was in Logan, Utah 
or was called Logan. The story is related in several books about Mr. 
DeLorean as many skeptics believe some of the British money was used to 
purchase this company; however, this has never been proven; it is purely 
speculative. I believe Hillel Levin and Bill Haddad tell the tale in their 
books, and I'm pretty sure it's in "Dream Maker."
