[DML] DMC-12 question...again??

I mean no disrespect to my fellow list members but I can't believe we
are going to start yet another thread on what "DMC-12" means. It goes
back and forth between the 12th design to being $12,000 for the original
asking price of the car. The most accepted reasoning is the cars price
being $12,000 to start. The DMC-80 bus wasn't the 80th design of the
bus, was it? Can we *please* get a final word of authority to end the
neverending threads on this wellworn subject.......what does JZD say?
Let's put this out of it's misery!
