The fuel distributor was rebuilt but I have a feeling the the plunger might
have gotten stuck all the way up. I will check it tonight an see. As for
how the rebuild was done, I found a rebuild kit for it and while it wasn't
the easiest to do, It worked (I think).

Raw gasoline exiting through the exhaust indicates that either the CO mix
adjustment is way out of tolerance or you have a defective fuel distributor.
You said you rebuilt the fuel distributor; how was that accomplished ?
