[DML] Water Pump New vs Rebuilt?

It looks like I'm about to have to start my winter project - at least the
two hoses behind the water pump, and probably the pump itself. I was out in
the garage today and noticed a widening green puddle under the back of the
car. I think it's one of the hoses, but I tend to go ahead and replace
everything in sight when I start taking things apart. The water pump and
those two hidden hoses are absolutely the only parts of the cooling system
that I have not replaced on this car (except maybe for the heater core).
I'm wondering if anyone has explored/seen the pros and cons of using a
rebuilt (DMCHouston) pump vs. a "new" one from one of the others.
I'm aware of the generic (Volvo/Carquest) replacements, and the attendant
pulley issues. I'm willing to pay the slight additional price of the DMC
vendors to get one with a pulley already installed (I don't have a press and
it's not worth my time to chase one down), and get all the attendant parts
(nuts/bolts/gaskets etc.) but wondered why I should pick one over the other.
This is one of the few service items where there seems to be a definite
choice.
Thanks; Dave
