Does anyone know the proper K&N air filter number for the DMC12?

It took me 2 days to find a replacement air filter for my DMC12, so I
don't really ever want to go through that again. In my neck of the
woods (Canada), it is painful to find the original replacement air
filter.

Does the K&N replace the airbox altogether or does it simply replace
just the air filter?

Anyone have one?
