Joe,by that I meant that for a one car factory to expect to produce X amount
of cars and keep all the workers and the factory going for a startup company
was way oversize,fine the property size was good but he should have built a
smaller factory to start and see how the "market" would bear his product,and
expand on site
if it became successful thus avoiding what "really" happened,too many cars
for the market to bear to keep the factory going,or at least KEPT the
spending down to reasonably minimum until it was profitable,in other words
do as Ferrari did,Small factory with a well built car,with a low volume
production,and a high price.I know he was under pressure from the British
Gov. to produce cars,but that was a big mistake
between him and the British gov. to not have more that one type of car
produced,or at least a non-gullwing Delorean,and possibly a convertible
Delorean.
