No Steve you are wrong, the had no moulds...

I called Dirk Wacker (the guy behind DeLorean Steel Products) two days ago asking for the
fender reproduktion. He told me they build the fenders from one sheet metal by hand without a
mould. But he told me also that they had not done one single piece at this time. Actually they
only removed dents from a rear quarter panel and produced some key- and plateholders.

I told him I want to write an article for "stainless" (german D´ mag) about the reconstruction
of an right front fender. I had got a "testpiece" from an friend of mine having an accident
some weeks ago. He told me that they are willing to do this, but he can not guarantee for a
perfect result.

Now he is on vacation the next four weeks, but right behind I will made the test and let you
guys know the result...
