[DML] Top Speed

Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine told me that he is not able to get his D past 85-87
mph. I'm curious, did D's ever come with govenors for speed in them, or
did some North American dealers put them in aftermarket?? I'm thinking
there must be something wrong with it! If anyone could feed some
insight on this, it would be appreciated, also could someone please
tell me what the approx. top speed is?
