Any reputable lender will want to know the value.
According to the most recent N.A.D.A. price guide the value of
a '81, '82, or '83 DeLorean is:
"Low Retail: $9250", "High Retail: $17800". Quite a spread, but in
reality the spread is even greater. Roughly from a few thousand
to over $50K!
On a car like a DeLorean most lenders will want to personally
examine the car and also get an independent appraisal from a
qualified "special interest" vehicle appraiser.
