There are two in line fuses external of the radio, under the instrument
panel. You do not have to take anything out to reach them but you almost
need to stand on your head. Believe it or not, my D had NO fuses in these
lines from the factory! The original owner did not care when the radio did
not work and never bothered to have it fixed. I am not a radio nut either
(due to poor hearing mainly) and never run radios, but wanted everything
working, so had it checked. The tech found the empty fuse containers. When
replaced it came to life for the first time since it left Ireland!
