The drain plug is on the front surface of the oil sump. If you run
your fingers along the front edge of the pan between the pan
and the frame you should be able to feel it. It is not a normal
plug. It uses a square bit instead of a torx bit or open end
wrenct.

Subject: [DML] Oil
Since my car has less than 18K on it, I'm thinking of switching it to a
synthetic oil. I have two questions:
I change oil in the driveway, can't find the plug in the D. Where is the
drain plug and what size is it?
Also, does anyone have experience with synthetics, pro or con? Any
recommendations?
Thanks!
