Any reputable radiator shop shouldn't have any problem
dealing with a radiator with plastic tanks. This is very
common radiator construction. I recently had a plastic tank
on one of my Corvettes develop a lateral crack. I removed
the radiator and took it to a local radiator shop where they
replaced both tanks (the core was ok) without a hitch.
The only problem I can imagine you might have is locating
correct tanks. In this case, it might even less expensive
to replace the entire assembly. But not to worry about
repair if you can locate the correct tanks. Piece of cake!
Good luck!
