You don't have to drill holes to mount a front plate. There are a
number of screws under the front bumper that can be used to attach a
bracket that will hold a license plate up in front of the bumber (You
don't want to mount the license plate in front of the radiator). I have
one of these on my car. I don't remember who made them, but I recall
seeing an ad for them in DeLorean World and you should also be able to
find it in the DML archives. See my web site for pictures of how it
