Mike,
If your D reaches 220, I bet your fans are NOT coming on. Check your fan diode
located in the relay comparment. My D never gets above 150 on the gage. When it
warms up I can hear the fans cut in and watch the temp gage drop 5-10 degrees
and then they cut out.
