[DML] tipped DeLorean pics

Hello,
I was very disturbed when I heard about the DeLorean that was tipped 
over at Michigan State. I went to the site where the pictures of the damage 
are and I downloaded the picture of the overturned DeLorean. you can see it

I recently went to look at a 81 DeLorean for sale that had interior fire 
damage. It had 27,000 miles on it but the inside was totally ruined. The 
man man wanted $7,500 for the car. I would have to replace the dash, seats, 
windshield,passenger side door and all interior carpet. I thought $7,500 was 
a little steep for how much it needed. The body was in perfect shape except 
the passenger door would not open. Is this a good deal?
