Follow-up: I didn't word my original question very well, but I was actually mostly wondering what sort of adhesive to use. The original fuzzy strips seem to be in pretty good condition.
Anyway, I just contact cemented them back on, and so far so good. If they don't hold up, it might be time for something more drastic...

There was a post not to long ago with the same issue with the NOS fuzzy strips. The gentleman had decided that he would re-glue them prior to installation as he wasn't so sure. I didn't want to take the time to do it so I installed mine...I wish I had.

I flipped the rubber strip over to give a a good clean surface and used 3M Black Super Adhesive. I set the fuzzy strip on the glue and positioned it correctly and let it dry.....perfect! They are now back in the car, glued strong and working great.

Being a 20+ year old part don't expect it to have the holding power it should. I hope my waste of time will educate those looking to fix their fuzzy strips. I would still recommend getting the DMC replacements BUT don't install them without first re-glueing.
