Q: Why would the British government toss the dies in
to the sea?  they could have sold them to recoup some
of their losses.

A: Sometimes people (and governments) do things like
this.  :)

What of the rumors that KPAC destroyed a lot of parts
because they were loosing some of the storage space
they had in Ohio..   (HEARSAY) many fascias were
tossed in to the shredder.
