Is it possible the problem isn't at the banjo fitting itself, but
rather further up the fluoroelastometric hose, running down and
collecting on the fitting before dripping? Those plastic lines become
brittle with age. Doesn't take much to crack them. It's also nearly
impossible to reseat tightly them on a new banjo barb.
Lines to and from the tank are definitely a useful application of 100
PSI rubber hose.
