My experience is the people in the "lower tax brackets" always come up
to me at gas stations and first thing that they ask me is "how much did
you pay for it?" so I tell them $150000 plus what I spent on repairs.
They usually wander off to the slurpie machine in a hurry.
Dont get the impression I'm some big jerk. If they are genuinely
interested I don't mind taking the time to answer questions and let
them sit in the car.
