[DML] Automatic Transmission Computer Governor Problem - ? Not this time.

I thank all of you who are helping me with my automatic transmission woes.  
ie. What I called downshifting into first from third at a high speed causing an 
over rev.  I was able to remove the governor for inspection and it looked 
pristine.  The usual capacitors that have problems were 15v olt units in mine.  
Seeming that they were not the problem I figured I was in for a lot of educated 
trial and error repairs and adjustments to the CG so...

I successfully transplanted the computer electronics to a box in the engine 
compartment for testing purposes running a 3 conductor cable to the "generator" 
(alternator) that remains attached to the tranny.  I have found some new 
information, perhaps better defining my problem.

When traveling at 45 mph, depressing the accelerator firmly causes the 
computer to want to downshift from third to first as indicated by a  no solenoid on 
to both solenoids on condition.  

My problem seems to actually be that the transmission somehow disengages or 
slips when this occurs causing the overrev.  I have been able to confirm this 
because if I force the car to stay in first, ie shifter at 1, the car's speed 
at 5000 rpm is about 45 mph, so I assume that driving at 45 mph in 3rd, and 
hitting the gas, if it downshifts to first the engine should rev to that same 
5000.

It revs much higher up towards 7000.  One time as a test I let up on the 
pedal to keep the engine revving at 5000 and applied the brakes to slow down.  I 
was able to easily stop the car with the shifter in D, the engine revving at 
5000 and the two solenoid lights on indicating 1st gear.  I did this quickly and 
hope I didn't do too much more damage.  So it would seem that something was 
slipping or disengaged.  This does not seem like a computer governor problem.
