Two words: "PASSPORT SRX" http://www.cnmw.com/srx.htm
These are expensive, but I have not been pulled over since I got
mine...my high-profile car was the target of frequent law-enforcement
scrutiny. The website says that you must get it installed by
a dealer, but they are readily available at about half-price on eBay.
By the way, one of the simplest ways to verify your speedometer
calibration is to use the little mile-marker signs on the interstate
highways.
Hold your speed steady at 60MPH, then start a timer or stopwatch as you
pass a mile-marker. It should take you exactly 60 seconds to reach the
next
one.

P.S. I can confirm that APD is now using laser for speed measurement...
